Service Developer
We are searching for several Java programmers to develop application services.
Responsibilities
You will be writing SOAP services for our next generation Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application. Our service solution stack includes Apache Tomcat WebServer, Apache CXF Soap Services, Spring Framework, iBATIS Data Mapper, and ORACLE database. You will be working in a mature architecture with well defined processes, using standard base classes and carefully designed company libraries.
Requirements
You must have a strong understanding of object oriented principles and software design. You must also be willing and able to learn and adopt new languages and technologies rapidly and efficiently.
Education
You will need a Bachelor’s degree or better in Computer Science or a related discipline. An extra two years of full-time experience developing software applications will be considered in lieu of this requirement.
Experience
You must have at least six months experience developing software applications. Java experience is obviously required, but experience with other programming languages will also be considered. Experience working with a service-oriented architecture is useful, as well as any experience you have with any of the technologies outlined in the responsibilities section above. Applicants who can demonstrate skill or experience in relational database design will receive highest priority.
